REPORTING ATTACKS WITHOUT INVOLVING THE POLICE

Many do not feel safe or happy reporting crimes to the Police so every year hundreds of rapes and thousands of attacks on Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexuals and Transgender people go unreported. Camden LGBT Forum recognise that some people do not want or do not feel safe talking to the Police, even Police who work in Community Safety Units (CSU).

A large number of crimes against members of the LGBT community go unreported. If crimes are not reported no one knows they are happening. The Camden LGBT Forum have produced a method of reporting crimes so that the Police do not have to be involved. By using our Non-Police Reporting Form you can tell us about where crimes are happening.

If you ask us to, we will pass the information about your crime anonymously on to the Police. We will also be able to put you in touch with organisations that may be able to help you get over the incident.
